This week’s match up features our division leaders facing off in the first week of inter-division play. Although this is the Surfers second season, they have never faced off against the Shenanihads. The Surfers have dominated the first 4 weeks of the season, topping the leader board with an 169 point performance, but crashed back to earth last week with a dismal 70.9 points. Although they’ve only ever exceeded the Surfers point total once, the Shenanihads have been fairly consistent all season, and have slowly but surely increased their point total week by week.
The two projection systems are at odds again this week, with the projections based on previous scores favoring the Surfers, while projections using player projections favoring the Shenanihads and their prime player matchups. Both systems project about 115-120 points per team, which seems very likely given each teams performance so far.

The Shenanihads got most of their bye-week woes out last week, but the Surfers will unfortunately be missing Doug Baldwin and Andy Dalton (lol). The Surfers definitely have the edge in the running back department, but unfortunately are edged out at nearly every other position. If things stay close through the morning games, all eyes may be on the Broncos game which include players for both the Surfers and the Shenanihads.
